Free ferry shuttle service between CREATE and the Pumphouse
ferry running 10-6 on both Saturday and Sunday.

Wild Waters and the Big Draw at CREATE!
Come and celebrate Bristol’s rivers …. and have fun filling the CREATE Centre with wild and watery works of art! This year we are teaming up with CREATE centre and South Bristol Riverscapes to invite you to doodle, design and draw to your heart’s content.

Get up close to tiny stream creatures
Go with the flow – be part of a drawing that’s bigger than you
Construct a wild picture using flotsam and jetsam from the river bank
Create your own fishy postcard in the café
Get messy with river mud whilst you print a picture
Make your own pencil and get drawing
Join an artist workshop (places limited - booking from the end of September by ringing CREATE reception - 0117 925 0505)
Join us for watery inspired drawing that explores the tidal river Avon and the plants and animals that inhabit the riverbank. Artists workshops, film screenings and free activities for all ages.

The CREATE Centre Gallery, 17th-30th October
Special exhibition of artists whose work reflects the water and its defining presence in this part of our city.. Work will include prints, illustrations, photography and film as well as art from Christchurch and Hotwell's primary schools.

TAKE PART IN ART, CREATE Centre
During your visit to the Create Centre for the West Bristol Art Trail, why not help Pete Dalby create an environmental work of art. Following on from his work last year in the Avon Gorge, Pete is bringing GORGEOUS? into the gallery. The piece will be created afresh throughout Saturday and Sunday.

Preview Evening at Hope Community Church, Friday 16th October
6pm - 9pm

Get a head start on the Art Trail by coming to a Preview Evening at the Hope Community Church on Friday evening. There will be work by twelve artists, including paintings, jewellery, assemblage, prints, all accompanied by a suitably relaxed DJ set.
Don't forget, the Art Trail at the Hope is only open on Friday evening and Saturday 10am - 5pm

Poetry at The Grapes, Sion Lane, Clifton Village, Saturday 17 October
12 noon to 2.30pm
Why not come and hear some Poets perform in this delightful venue!

"Water, Water" Exhibition Preview at The Lime Tree Gallery, 84 Hotwell Road
Saturday 17th October

To celebrate our harbourside setting in Bristol, The Lime Tree Gallery have a mixed exhibition of fine paintings by some of the gallery's favourite artists.
The gallery is also open on Sunday 18th 11am-40m. The exhibition will be open until 17 November.

A night of ridiculousness and music at The Grain Barge, Friday 16th October
8pm- late, HOLD BAR, £3

Welcome to Pepino's League of Extraordinary Balderdash.
A very formal night of ridiculousness and music at The Grain Barge hosted by Pepino (www.myspace.com/pepinoband) who'll be performing with support from Annette Berlin & Nuala plus DJ SKINT
Pepino, consisting of piano, drums and string quartet, will be playing a raucous set of ditties and ballads that aim to caress the heart and the nethers.
There will also be some surprise theatrical events!
Dress Code: Tragi-comic evening wear with a prize for best dressed - No savile row? no issue!! What ever your outfit is missing replace with a sign e.g. "Balls Gown"!
